A few years ago I bought a beard trimmer. At the time I remember laughing and joking with friends at the "nasal hair trimmer" that came free with it.

In contrast however, today was a sad day as for the first time, I took it from its packaging, installed a triple A battery, gently inserted into each nostril and purged myself of unwelcome hair.

Unwanted nasal hair, is it a sign of old age or of something positive like being a mature, distinguished sexual dynamo?

On a separate hair topic, WTF is with Chinese people nurturing and cultivating mole hairs? I often see people with a good 3 or 4 inches of thick wiry mole hair poking out of a brown lump, like an antenna in a turd. Is it some kind of tradition a competition or is it just coincidence and all these people simply haven't noticed the long hair protruding from their facial moles?

On the topic of mole hair. I've heard it's a piece of old thought dating back a long ass time that was something along the lines of, the longer your mole hair the more luck you'll have and the longer you'll live.

The mole thing is definitely a luck issue.

Nasal hair is nothing. You worry about age onset when you ask the hairdresser to trim your ear hairs as a better-value alternative to tackling your head hair!

@Yulia I agree, a short life with no mole hair is a much better alternative to a long life with copious amounts of mole hair.

@Afshin, interesting to know... i thought since they're hairless, they cherish any facial hair, even if it 1 or 2 growing from their moles.... this clears things up... but it's still nasty...

I remeber had a chinese teacher, she was really a great teacher, but I couldn't study...bcz i could not stop looking at her hair growing from a mole on a cheek...It was really big and straight like antenna.....and the only desire of mine was to pull it out...
