Staying in Dalian for a month - looking for runners.

Any runners in Dalian who has tips to routes/track/trails for running - preferably in the hills somewhere? I have been running in evenings around the Zhongshan area which is OK considering we are in China. So far lungs don't seem fried by exhaust gasses as in most other cities.

If anyone are up for running in the hills and preferably knows their way around please let me know. Ill be happy to join in.

    Thanks

Binhai Lu is too cold in this season, although it has clean air. Labour Park in central of downtown, it's the biggest green land with green hill.

I would run Binghai Lu if anyone was up for it. Not sure it is good in the evening though...

Binhai Lu at this time is probably cold for evening runs... but would be good for late morning to afternoon runs... when the sun is still up.

Yeah I thought of Binhai Lu, was spectacular from the car - how would you run that? Running it as a loop from downtown through Xinghai Square would be at least a half marathon in distance. Possibly longer. So not a route you do every evening.

Taxi to Bayi Lu/Jiefang Lu and then run the 10-12 km loop back downtown through Xinghai Square??

How long would a loop in Labor Park be? Any entrance fee?

    Thanks

depends how long of a run... couple of weeks ago we went for a stroll on Binhai Lu taxi to bridge then walked towards Laohutan ocean park... was nice and relaxing... you can easily continue to Fisherman's Wharf where McD is.

Anyone knows if there is a path in the big hill in Xigang? On google maps it looks possible to get from Shengli road to Fujiazhunag park/beach and continue westwards to connect to Shengli road (kinda circle trail), should be about 12km.
