CBP is designed for professionals who:
- want to add the “leadership in China experience” to their resume
- want to add *marketable* experiences in preparation for business school or other ventures
- are looking for a way to create business opportunities in China
- want to learn Chinese language and culture while working

CBP Program Objectives:
- Provide high quality China work experience to CBP participants, through employment as a business English language and leadership skills trainer
- Allow CBP participants to build a solid Chinese language foundation through an intensive language program and on-the-job applications
- Develop CBP participants through language trainer training and leadership skills training
- Provide a platform for CBP participants to build strong relationships with top Chinese and multi-national firms in Beijing for long term business opportunities

By the end of the 18-month CBP Program you will have:
- Trained Chinese professionals on business English and leadership skills, providing up to 20 hours of training per week
- Led special projects to develop and implement innovative new training curriculum, tailored for Chinese firms in various industries
- Completed over 800 hours (12 months) of Chinese language coursework and application, at an average of 15 hours of usage per week
- Connected with Chinese and multi-national professionals from various industries, establishing long-term leads for future opportunities
- Qualified for evaluation for a full-time LeaderEnglish Trainer role or other management roles at Global Edge Academy

What does a sample week look like in this program?
Sample Weekly Scheduled Time for CBP:
12 hours of client training, 6 hours of Chinese class, 4 hours of project work, 4 hours of meetings

Monday, Wednesday
2-hours of Chinese Language Training in the morning
Weekly Tactical Meeting (Mondays afternoons only)
One 2-hour VIP 1×1 class in the afternoon
2-hours of work on a project in the late afternoon or evening

Tuesday, Thursdays
Mornings and early afternoon free or study Chinese
Prepare for class or have a project meeting in the late afternoon
2-hours of class in the evening

Fridays
2-hours of Chinese Language Training in the morning
One 2-hour VIP 1×1 class in the afternoon

Saturdays
Free

Sunday
Two 2-hour classes
Afternoon / Evening Free

- CBP is designed for the entrepreneurial, open-minded, hard-working, and reflective candidate.
- Due to the large number of applications, the application process can be long and rigorous, filled with reference checks, Skype interviews, and offline/online assignments.
- CBP is based in Beijing only, and participants will get a chance to train employees from large Chinese and multinational companies, like Lenovo, Google, Glaxo-Smith Kline, Alcoa, Sinopec, and others.
- CBP is designed for the entrepreneurial, open-minded, hard-working, and reflective candidate.
- CBP will assist candidates in finding accommodations, and with various tasks to get settled in Beijing.
- Upon qualification for the program and contractual agreement, Global Edge Academy will sponsor a work visa and health insurance. Salaries and stipends are determined by education, work experience, and interview performance. Working schedules and holidays follow Chinese public holidays but also take into account client schedules.
